The making of wine therapy.

Seeking a pet-friendly spot to unwind with my furry friend after work, I founded Wine Therapy in 2016. Transforming it from humble beginnings, including furnishing from local yard sales, we aimed to create a vibrant social hub for dog lovers. Though COVID temporarily closed our doors, we persevered, relocating to a spot behind The Cruisery. Now, nestled in its own cozy corner, Wine Therapy thrives, offering dog birthdays and an inviting patio. Join us for a unique wine bar experience – where dogs are welcome and people are tolerate:)

After years in the restaurant and nightclub industry, I embarked on the journey of creating Wine Therapy. Seeking a cozy spot where I could unwind with my dogs outside of work, I envisioned a place where others could do the same. The urgency to start my own venture was amplified when my previous employer denied me time to be with my ailing father, highlighting the need for flexibility and autonomy in my career. Despite initial challenges, Wine Therapy found success with its unique offerings like Frosé and Sangria, along with fun events. However, our plans for expansion were disrupted by the onset of COVID-19, leading to a relocation behind The Cruisery. In 2018, I purchased the old Santa Barbara Brewing Company, transforming it into The Cruisery and Unbearable Skee Lodge. While we miss our original location, we've enhanced the patio to create a more intimate and dog-friendly space. Join us at Wine Therapy, where we continue to craft memorable experiences for all.
